Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality patient care, manage patient flow, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' psychosocial, educational, and age-specific needs and complete ED assessment data accordingly.
- Review and document care and discharge goals with physicians and patients/families.
- Administer and document IVs and medications accurately according to established standards of care and policies and procedures.
- Intervene promptly when changes in a patient's condition occur and document nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with policy.
- Assign/delegate patient care activities to other nursing staff based on patient needs and staff members' qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Advanced degrees or certifications a plus!
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications through American Heart Association.
- At least two years of ER experience or equivalent critical care background. Experience working in fast-paced environments and handling crisis situations a must!
