We are a small unit but have all the benefits of the Cleveland Clinic. There are a multitude of learning opportunities both onsite and off throughout the year. This LPN role would require the candidate to be trained in 3 different roles within the department-Pre/post op, GI tech role assisting MD during procedures and scope reprocessing. This position will be supporting the physicians in the office setting in obtaining prior authorizations for biologic medications.
A caregiver in this position works days, from 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
Perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and family members.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Internal candidates must have a minimum of one year related nursing experience
External candidates must have two years recent and related experience

Physical Requirements:
Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination.
Involves extensive standing and walking.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $23.25
Maximum hourly: $33.50

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
