The Department Dispatcher promotes a positive experience through friendly, courteous, compassionate and effective patient and visitor communications. Receives and dispatches requests, making sure to prioritize and align requests with available resources, then records requests in the designated system(s).
This is a part-time role. A caregiver in this role will work 3:00pm to 8:00pm with no weekends or holidays.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Conduct friendly, courteous, compassionate and helpful communication with customers.
- Dispatch requests in a timely manner and communicate status updates/delays to customers.
- Receive and log requests through applicable software/tracking.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have 1 year of customer service experience in a role that requires exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers over the phone for the majority of the day
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Previous experience in a high volume call center or dispatch facility
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods•
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment•
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information•
Ability to move/transport items weighing up to 25 pounds (lbs.)
Personal Protective Equipment:
