cal campus that includes Diagnostic Centers, Outpatient Surgery and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education.
The Clinical Nutrition Manager leads daily operations for designated clinical nutrition services across Cleveland Clinic’s main campus and regional locations. Oversees the delivery of medical nutrition therapy by registered dietitians and ensures adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Manages staffing and HR functions while actively contributing to long-range planning and system-wide clinical nutrition initiatives as part of the CHN leadership team.
A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday, 8:00am—4:30pm. No weekends no holidays
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage assigned human resources at main campus and regional facilities to ensure their efficient and effective allocation as well as alignment with Cleveland Clinic goals and strategies.
Participate as a CHN management team member to assist in long-range planning and strategic initiatives.
Maintain relationships with regional facility leaders to ensure congruent provision of clinical nutrition services.
Ensure compliance with clinical nutrition activities established by CMS, the Joint Commission, and all Federal and State regulatory organizations.
Supervise assigned personnel including registered dietitians, dietetic technicians, and clerical assistants.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and assessing competence through annual performance reviews and on-going quality monitoring.
Analyze workflow, staffing needs, and develop strategies and programs for optimal use of resources for patient care and department operations.
Support the development, education, and professional growth of CHN members, the dietetic internship, advanced practice residency, and fellowship program.
Facilitate resolution of interdepartmental issues and problems, ensuring consistent administration of policies and procedures.
Participate in inter-and intra-departmental committees and meetings within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
Participate in fiscal management of the CHN.
Market available services, promote program development.
Ensure technical and clinical integrity of medical nutrition therapy services.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field
Completion of an Academy Nutrition and Dietetics-approved dietetic internship (or equivalent dietitian-qualifying experience) and current certification as a registered dietitian (RD)
Current license to practice dietetics in the State of Florida
3 years of experience as a practicing dietitian in a clinical setting
2 years of supervisory/leadership experience with proven ability to lead the work of other
Physical Requirements:
A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC; normal or corrected vision to normal range; extensive sitting and frequent walking; occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
