What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist position at Cleveland Clinic?
The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology within the Neurological Institute (NI) at Cleveland Clinic has an immediate need to recruit full-time Adult Outpatient Psychiatrists in Northeast Ohio. Board-certified or board eligibility is required. Experience in Intensive Outpatient Programs is highly desired. Co-located in primary care and specialty care sites, these psychiatrists will be working in outpatient hubs with fellow psychiatrists, psychologists, APPs, and therapists. Teaching opportunities exist with our medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows.

We have a growing Psychiatric Treatment Resistant Program, with advanced therapies such as TMS, DBS, Ketamine, and psychedelics, coupled with a robust ECT program. We are also expanding Geropsychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, and Women's Behavioral Health. With our hospitals in the Cleveland Clinic health system, we are one of the largest inpatient and outpatient psychiatric providers in Northeast Ohio.
In January 2027, the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology will move into a new, state-of-the-art Neurological Institute building, providing a once in a lifetime environment for interdisciplinary clinical work and discovery.

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.

Minimum salary: $275,000
Maximum salary: $403,000
