As Administrative Assistant II for Plastic Surgery, your focus is on ensuring the smooth operation of this department. In this role, your work improves coordination between the nursing, administrative, and healthcare teams, allowing caregivers to deliver critical treatments and support.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Caregivers may transition to a hybrid schedule, working two days remotely per week following completion of training.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61

In this role, your work improves coordination between the nursing, administrative, and healthcare teams, allowing caregivers to deliver critical treatments and support.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively such as acting as a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering and triage phone calls.
- Administer calendar and schedule management.
- Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence. (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.)
- Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service and registration.
- Coordinate management functions and assist in special projects.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of office experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel or Power Point).
- Experience may be assessed with an on-line Skills Assessment
- Associate’s Degree
- Typing proficiency of 35 wpm with accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, EPIC, Oracle, CoFax and DocuSign
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective.
