What You’ll Do
Once a job is underway, you’re the person on the ground making sure it runs the way it should.
Scheduling, procurement, and client communication are handled from the office. Your job is to
be at the job site watching quality, keeping subs on track, and representing the company in
person.
Job Site Oversight
Visit active job sites regularly to check on progress and workmanship
Make sure subcontractors show up, follow the schedule, and do the work right
Flag issues on-site before they turn into delays or rework
Material Drops & Site Logistics
Be on-site to receive and check material deliveries
Confirm deliveries match what was ordered and flag discrepancies
Stage materials so subcontractors can keep working without delay
Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe
Client Face Time
Show up for clients on-site and represent the company well
Give clients a friendly, professional point of contact during a stressful time
Pass along client questions or concerns to the office right away
Communication with the Office
Report job site progress, issues, and subcontractor performance back to the office daily
Keep leadership informed of what’s actually happening in the field
Escalate problems quickly so they can be solved before they cause delays
Client Punch Walks and Project Close outs
Lead the final walkthrough with clients, documenting all requested changes
Negotiate closeout on gray-area items in coordination with the management team
Push back professionally on items outside the scope of our work
Translate confirmed punch list items into clear instructions for subcontractors
Confirm all punch list work is completed before closing out the job
A Day in the Life
A typical day might include:
Visiting multiple active job sites
Meeting subcontractors and reviewing their progress
Checking workmanship against what was promised to the client
Being on-site for material drops and staging deliveries
Greeting and checking in with clients in person
Solving problems on the spot before they cause delays
Taking photos and notes to report back to the office
Coordinating with the office on schedule and material needs
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
