Job Description
Payroll Administrator needed for established Beaver, PA accounting firm.
This position is a full-time, in office position.
Our firm is looking for someone to assist in payroll tax preparation and payroll.
Job Requirements:
- Dependability with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks independently
- 2 years’ experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Applicants with previous experience working in accounting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process weekly hourly payroll
- Assist in payroll tax preparation
- Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions
- Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets
- Resolve payroll discrepancies
- Supply payroll reports as needed
- Complete tax payments and reporting.
- Complete monthly cash and bank reconciliations
- Maintain oversight of payables, receivables, collections and payroll
- Reconcile year end W-2's
- Assist CPA with tax filings
