Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional experience building native Android applications end to end.
- Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle, including multi-module build optimization.
- Production experience with Jetpack, including Jetpack Compose for declarative UI at scale.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve memory, rendering, and battery performance issues.
- History of shipping or maintaining at least one application on Google Play with accountability for release quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading technical decisions and influencing cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery models in large-scale environments.
- Background in regulated industries, preferably financial services, with focus on security and compliance.
