Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Norcross, GA (Atlanta, GA)
Duration: Full Time
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Superintendent for ground-up Commercial Construction projects between $5 Million and $20 Million in value
Previous Supervisory experience of an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Laborers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and Hand-Held Computing Technology for a communication tool, Microsoft Office Suite programs, and web-based technology
Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions; Procore experience preferred
Experience using Project Scheduling Software
Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings and Specifications

Duties:
Complete Drawing Scrub Review of Construction Documents during Preconstruction
Work in conjunction with the Project Management Team on Subcontractor and Vendor procurement by completing buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews, etc.
Responsible for the Day to Day Supervision and Operation of the Jobsite
Effectively manage relationships with Subcontractors, Owners and Local Officials
Inspects all work to ensure compliance to Contract, company standards and building codes
Assist in the creation of the initial CPM schedule, recovery schedules, and schedule modifications due to unforeseen conditions or changes
Responsible for the creation of 3 Week Look Ahead schedules
Manage quality control on site so the final product meets or exceeds defined installation quality levels
Oversee and/or complete the day-today field documentation including daily logs, as-built documents, inspection reports, safety documentation, and notes
Conduct weekly Subcontractor meetings and Safety meetings
Responsible for the productivity of all trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
Ensure all On-Site personnel comply with the project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts and errors
Assist the Project Management Team in the completion of timely Owner Billings via the verification of work-in-place quantities/billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers
Assist in the creation of and ensure the completion of Punch Lists
