What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Technician -Payables position at Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County?
In this role, you will have many opportunities to work on special assignments that will assist our office in giving back to the community! In addition to learning how our office plays an integral role in serving the community as the “County Watchdog” under our Comptroller functions. - Operates various office equipment as required to perform their assigned duties
- Assists other unit personnel in supporting efficient functioning of the work unit
- Performs a variety of essential record keeping duties; manages department or unit record keeping and filing system
- Utilizes various automated business management systems
- Generates correspondence, memos, agendas, requisitions, reports, and other relevant materials appropriate to assigned unit; performs a wide variety of administrative duties in supporting departmental functions, i.e., answering telephones, processing unit mail, copying materials, filing materials, records search
- Takes telephone inquiries related to invoicing or records, ascertaining the nature of the call, and resolving personally or directing to the appropriate individual or department
- Receives and reviews various reports, and documentation for the purpose of verifying accuracy; ensures necessary copies of pertinent documents are made, filed and distributed accordingly
- Acts as liaison between supervisor, other departments and outside agencies, gathering and relaying information
