About The Role

An early-stage B2B SaaS startup in the marketing AI space is looking for a Founding Growth Lead to own end-to-end growth and product marketing. You'll work directly alongside the founder as a true strategic partner — building the playbooks, running the experiments, and crafting the narratives that drive top-of-funnel momentum. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at the ground floor of a fast-moving team.

This is a fully on-site role based in SoHo, New York City. No remote or hybrid arrangements are available.

What You'll Do

  • Own product marketing end-to-end: launch strategy, messaging, coordinating launch videos and content with engineering and creative teams.
  • Build and run an intimate events program for marketing leaders and founders — from concept and guest list through post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as the founder's #2 on growth, building the playbook while executing at sprint pace.
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth through content creation, industry reports, and thought leadership to establish a leadership position in the space.
  • Design, run, and analyze growth experiments end-to-end: hypothesis → launch → learnings, with rapid iteration.
  • Build and manage agency and partnership relationships to drive distribution.
  • Talk to customers regularly and feed insights back into product and marketing strategy.
  • Create lightweight systems and playbooks to convert successful experiments into repeatable processes.
  • Fill gaps, unblock problems, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks as the company scales.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3 years in growth or product marketing roles at high-growth startups, with a track record of end-to-end ownership.
  • Proven experience owning product marketing fully: defining features for launches, crafting messaging, and coordinating with engineering and video/creative teams.
  • Experience running events programs for professional audiences (concept to execution to follow-up).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage agency and partner relationships for distribution.
  • Strong track record designing and running growth experiments with rapid iteration.
  • Exceptional storytelling and messaging skills — able to translate complex ideas into sharp, compelling narratives.
  • High adaptability; comfortable thriving in ambiguity and rapid change.
  • US work authorization required (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Available to work on-site in SoHo, NYC (no remote; no student applicants).

Nice To Have

  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies and applying AI to marketing or SEO workflows.
  • Background in B2B SaaS marketing platforms or adjacent martech.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SEO analytics platforms, CRMs, ad platforms, and AI search tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $228,800 – $364,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
  • Early-stage equity opportunity.
