We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for daily financial transaction processing, both manual and electronic, to support company operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and has a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply bank payments to customer accounts with accuracy
- Enter and apply check payments to customer accounts
- Complete route settlement and match payments with invoices
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
- Prepare and print checks for vendors
- Assist with month-end closing activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience with MS Office Software
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/other) a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
