What You Will Do
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
- Architect and design new features that support Fresh Sales forecasting and availability planning
- Manage and compute against very large datasets with an emphasis on performance and asynchronous processing
- Integrate with SAP, JDA Warehouse Management, and other internal systems
- Troubleshoot issues and stabilize the application as the team moves toward a steady state
- Translate business needs into technical design by working directly with Fresh Sales and cross functional teams
- Participate in three week iterative development cycles and daily stand ups
- Document code, data flows, and architectural decisions
- Identify ways to improve performance, optimize data processing, and modernize patterns as needed
- Ability to architect new backend features from scratch
- Highly complex computational challenges at meaningful scale

- Ability to design backend architecture and reason through tradeoffs
- Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to non-technical partners

- 3 to 6 years of backend engineering experience
