Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and machinery, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Carpenter / Laborer will contribute to a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks, including installation of cabinets, doors, and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project specifications accurately.
- Engage in concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and siding installation as needed.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation.
- Conduct flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing tasks with precision.
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety regulations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in construction estimating and project planning.
- Demonstrated experience in woodworking, cabinet installation, door hanging, and maintenance person tasks.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly processes, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is a plus.
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform construction painting and rebar installation effectively.
