Medic Position Clearwater Ambulance District Join Our Team! • Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
• Assess, treat, and transport patients in accordance with Missouri state regulations, district policies, and established medical protocols.
• Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care utilizing current evidence-based practices.
• Operate ambulances safely under emergency and non-emergency conditions.
• Complete accurate, thorough, and timely electronic patient care reports (ePCRs).
• Maintain ambulances, medical equipment, medications, and supplies in a clean, organized, and response-ready condition.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Participate in continuing education, skills training, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain positive working relationships with local hospitals, physicians, clinics, medical providers, long-term care facilities, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, emergency management personnel, and other healthcare and public safety partners to ensure seamless patient care and effective community collaboration.
• Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and the public.
• Represent Clearwater Ambulance District with professionalism, integrity, and respect at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Missouri Paramedic License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background investigation.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• National Registry Paramedic certification preferred.
• Previous 911 EMS experience preferred.
• ITLS, PHTLS, or equivalent trauma certification preferred.
• Community Paramedicine or Critical Care experience is a plus.
