- Adhere to standards of professional conduct, business ethics, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within the scope of practice (oral, subcutaneous, IV per licensure) and accurately document administration
- Monitor residents for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report changes promptly
- Record resident medical information, vital signs, and observations accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide direct bedside care to residents with varying medical needs, including post-acute and long-term care
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and IV initiation
- Monitor and operate medical equipment, reporting abnormalities as indicated
- Initiate appropriate interventions when residents display changes in condition or adverse symptoms
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and treatments
- Respond to emergency and life-saving situations in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Participate in resident care planning and discharge planning as applicable
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with facility policy and regulatory requirements
- Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned based on licensure and unit needs
- Current RN or LPN license in the state.
- At least one year of RN or LPN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
