- Oversee and support the delivery of nursing care to meet the medical needs of all residents
- Coordinate and monitor infection control practices to ensure compliance and resident safety
- Provide ongoing education, training, and support to nursing staff
- Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance and promote effective communication across all levels of the nursing team
- Help coordinate and direct overall planning and delivery of nursing services
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and documentation
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new nursing staff
- Oversee daily staffing processes to ensure appropriate coverage and quality care
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the facility and residents
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting required
- Prior management or leadership experience preferred
- Previous staff education or training experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising nursing staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule required, including availability for on-call responsibilities
