What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Clearview Diagnostic?
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Creole) (English/Spanish) Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis, performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including the management of medical records. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm .
As a Receptionist, you will welcome guests and greet people visiting the business. You will be responsible for coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence, redirecting phone calls, checking in and out patients, receiving and faxing records to multiple providers' offices.
To be successful in this customer service role, you should have a pleasant personality, multitasking and stress management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Excel. You should be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, possess excellent organizational skills, and have solid written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Check-in and Check out patients
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
- Sending/receiving medical records from multiple providers
- Verify Insurances
Skills
- Bilingual** Creole/English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Excel is a must
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
