Duties
- Clean windows of various sizes and heights using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring streak-free results
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts and extension poles safely to reach high or difficult areas
- Prepare work areas by setting up safety barriers and securing equipment before beginning cleaning tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards
- Perform routine janitorial and custodial tasks around work sites to maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met, making touch-ups as necessary
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any damages or shortages promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles with a focus on window cleaning
- Skilled in using cleaning tools, squeegees, scrapers, and environmentally friendly cleaning solutions
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other height-access equipment safely and confidently
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures in elevated work environments
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, reaching, and working at heights for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions accurately
