Overview
We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility by providing excellent patient care coordination and administrative support.
Job Description
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our patient acquisition activities, providing exceptional patient care services, and managing our relationship with nursing facility staff. This role requires travel across a specified territory within Texas with travel expenses reimbursed.
Responsibilities:
- Support licensed hearing specialists in patient acquisition activities, including performing hearing examinations, fitting, and dispensing hearing devices.
- Coordinate with nursing facility staff in scheduling service appointments, escalating issues/complaints to managers, and updating prospective/current patient status as needed.
- Replenish hearing device supplies for patients on a biweekly basis.
- Fill out Service Reports after completing services for each facility on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- Experience with sales or healthcare (not mandatory but preferred).
- Ability to quickly learn customer relationship management software.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- High School Diploma (required for HIS Licensing)
- Traveling in the State of Texas
