Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and supervise ABA treatment plans based on data collection and ongoing patient assessment.
- Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
- Maintain detailed medical records, documentation, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards related to patient care and medical documentation.
Skills
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, especially with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Experience working with people with autism or other behavioral health conditions.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing for clinical purposes.
- Familiarity with special education settings and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and patient assessment procedures.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and conduct intake assessments effectively.
