What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at ClearStaff, Inc.?
ClearStaff in Villa Park IL are in search of associates with a background in sit-down forklift/General Warehouse for our client in the Aurora IL area.
Please keep in mind you will not be using the forklift for the entirety of your shift. Your workflow will be split between forklift, general labor, packing, etc.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:00AM-5PM Monday to Friday (Saturday as needed) Payrate starting at $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
- Operate clamp truck and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support warehouse management in overseeing daily operations and logistics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
- Strong materials handling skills
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and order picking
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including Cranes, Clamp Truck and Cherry Pickers
- Basic computer experience
- Heavy lifting capability and mechanical knowledge
