Position Summary
Clearpath Outpatient Clinic is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment services to adults experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. The SUDP will provide individual and group services, support treatment planning and relapse prevention, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with agency policies and ethical standards.

- Monday–Thursday
- 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- 20 hours per week
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group substance use disorder treatment services within scope of practice.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches, including motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and skills-based interventions.
- Support client engagement and recovery planning using person-centered, trauma-informed communication.
- Educate clients on coping skills, triggers, cravings, relapse prevention, and recovery supports.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with internal providers and external partners to support continuity of care.
- Facilitate referrals to additional services and higher levels of care when needed.
- Identify and respond appropriately to safety concerns and urgent situations.
- Complete timely, accurate, and objective clinical documentation.
- Participate in supervision, case consultation, and required trainings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Washington State credential as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
- Minimum of one year of experience providing substance use disorder treatment services.
- Experience facilitating individual and/or group services.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational or recovery groups.
- Training in motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, or other evidence-based practices.
- Knowledge of community recovery resources and referral systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
