Hours: 20–32 hours per week

Location: On-site, 50 California St, San Francisco, CA 94111

Salary: $27-$30/hour

Internship Timeline:

This internship is expected to begin around mid-June and continue through mid-September, although timing and end date can be flexible depending on candidate availability and business needs.

You’re a current undergraduate, graduate student or recent graduate, with an interest in business, finance, accounting, economics, consulting, or operations who is eager to gain hands-on experience inside a fast-paced advisory and consulting environment.

You’re organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to learn how businesses operate behind the scenes. You enjoy helping where needed, are comfortable juggling different types of projects, and are willing to roll up your sleeves to support the team.

You’re looking for exposure to a variety of business functions and want direct experience working alongside professionals supporting finance, operations, people strategy, and client projects.

The Role

This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to a variety of business functions and projects across the company, with a primary emphasis on financial advisory, business analysis, research, and operational support.

The right candidate is adaptable, reliable, professional, and eager to learn. While much of the role will involve supporting finance- and business-related projects, the intern will also assist with broader company initiatives and team support where needed, including operational, administrative, and people strategy projects.

Successful candidates are highly organized, comfortable learning new tools and systems, have strong attention to detail, and are not afraid to ask questions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry, spreadsheet updates, and maintaining internal or client-related business and financial information
• Support research, analysis, and reporting projects for internal and client use
• Assist team members with forecasting, business analysis, and operational support projects when needed
• Help prepare presentations, reports, summaries, and project documentation
• Support a variety of consulting and advisory projects, which may include business assessments, operational process improvement initiatives, ERP-related projects, financial analysis, recurring CFO support work, and research assignments
• Provide support on recruiting, people strategy, and other cross-functional company initiatives when needed
• Assist with administrative, coordination, and general business support tasks across the company
• Gain exposure to different areas of consulting, business operations, financial advisory, and client services

Your Experience

• Prior internship, leadership, or other professional experience is a plus
• Exposure to business, finance, accounting, operations, consulting, or project-based environments is strongly preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Office, AI tools, or business software platforms
• Experience working with spreadsheets, research projects, or data organization

Education

• Current student or recent graduate preferred
• Coursework or educational background in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related fields strongly preferred

Skills

• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and willing to ask questions when unsure
• Comfortable learning new systems, software, and processes quickly
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office strongly preferred
• Ability to thoughtfully use AI tools to support research, organization, and workflow efficiency
• Positive attitude and willingness to help across different types of projects
• Professional, reliable, and respectful with both clients and team members
