Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Glover, VT 05839
Contract: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Schedule: Day & Evening shifts, 8 & 12 hour shifts
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay: $50 - $55/hr
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a primary care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong Primary Care or Urgent Care experience and be comfortable with patient triage, nurse visits, and EMR documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient triage and basic nursing assessments.
- Conduct nurse visits and provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Monitor patient symptoms and communicate findings to providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and permitted by state regulations.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care.
- Coordinate referrals, lab work, appointments, and other patient services.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and clinical standards.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- BLS-AHA certification.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
