Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid position for an Accounting Manager based in Birmingham, AL, with the option for this position to turn into a fully remote position. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial performance, managing journal entries, and overseeing fixed assets and finance operations. This role requires precision, accountability, and the ability to provide accurate financial insights to support client business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and analyzing financial data
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret numbers and provide actionable insights
- Knowledge of Accounting principles, including Journal Entries and Fixed Assets management
- Experience and knowledge in Finance principles and practices
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in managing finances for multiple clients or businesses is a bonus
