Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and MRO supplies
• Source, qualify, and manage suppliers for films, adhesives, release liners, coatings, and related manufacturing materials
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while monitoring commodity markets and raw material pricing trends
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service while maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Resolve supply disruptions, shortages, and vendor-related issues to support uninterrupted production
• Partner with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Laboratory, Product Development, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while balancing cost, service, and production requirements
• Ensure purchased materials meet product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements including ISO 9001:2015 compliance
• Maintain SDS documentation, compliance certifications, and support investigations involving raw material quality issues
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience within tape, adhesive, coatings, chemical, or converting manufacturing strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration experience
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems for purchasing and inventory management
• Knowledge of raw materials including films, resins, rubber, acrylics, silicones, solvents, specialty chemicals, and packaging materials
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
• Experience leading procurement teams preferred
• Familiarity with global sourcing, import/export regulations, and Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus

Pay Range:
$95k – $120k
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
