Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve equipment and technology solutions to address complex customer challenges and enhance manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, controls, and production system issues while providing technical support for customer meetings, trials, and installations
- Support sales and project teams by preparing equipment quotations, evaluating project opportunities, and coordinating with contractors and equipment vendors
- Lead equipment implementation activities, including production line setup, assembly, facility installations, staffing, and training of maintenance and production personnel
- Foster strong customer relationships by ensuring timely problem resolution, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Hands-on mechanical experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong experience working with and troubleshooting mechanical systems, including: Conveyors, Gearboxes and drive systems, Bearings and rotating equipment, Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems, Pumps and fluid handling equipment, Motors and power transmission components.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues directly on the production floor to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Experience performing root cause analysis, equipment reliability improvements, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations
- Comfortable spending approximately 50% of work time on the manufacturing floor, supporting equipment installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects
