Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our 3rd‑shift team. This role ensures equipment reliability, performs preventative maintenance, and responds to breakdowns to keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance — Inspect and service machinery to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting — Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Emergency Repairs — Respond quickly to breakdowns during production.
- Production Equipment Setup — Prepare and adjust machinery for scheduled runs.
- Documentation — Read schematics, manuals, and work orders to perform required service.
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to perform emergency and scheduled repairs.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on 3rd shift.
