Continuous Improvement Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects within manufacturing operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Analyze production processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and track cost savings.
- Work with production, engineering, and management teams to improve operations.
- Train employees on Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of continuous improvement experience.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with cost savings, ROI calculations, and process optimization.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- JD Edwards (JDE) experience is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
