Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve industrial automation systems and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical controls, automation programming, equipment maintenance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automation and control systems.
- Work with DCS, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Perform programming modifications, system backups, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and control systems.
- Support equipment installation, calibration, and commissioning.
- Identify equipment issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing automation or industrial controls.
- Degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, VFDs, and electrical control systems.
- Experience with Rockwell automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and safety regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
