Piper Companies is seeking a VoIP Engineer
- Active Secret Clearance to join a leading telecommunications company with a focus on maintaining and modernizing telephony systems, including the migration from legacy TDM platforms to VoIP/SIP-based solutions. The position requires an active Secret clearance and will be onsite 5 days per week in Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities for VoIP Engineer
- Active Secret Clearance:
- Manage and support telephony systems across both legacy TDM and modern VoIP/SIP environments.
- Drive migration efforts from traditional TDM infrastructure to IP-based telephony platforms.
- Engage in hands-on lab work and deployment activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver seamless system integration and performance optimization. Qualifications for VoIP Engineer
- Active Secret Clearance:
- 5 years of experience as a Network or Telephony Engineer supporting enterprise-level voice systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of TDM telephony and VoIP/SIP protocols.
- Practical experience with telephony migrations, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Compliance with DoD 8140 requirements and possession of CompTIA Security certification. Compensation/Benefits for VoIP Engineer
- Active Secret Clearance:
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually
