Task Order Project Manager Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Task Order Project Manager for a potential role to lead the execution of a large, complex task order, or a group of related task orders supporting the same system. This role supports the Program Manager and serves as a primary point of coordination with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, government leadership, and customer agency representatives. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Task Order Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned task orders, ensuring technical solutions, schedules, and deliverables are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the execution of one or more complex task orders
- Coordinate with the Program Manager, KO, Task Order Managers, and government stakeholders
- Ensure task order technical solutions, schedules, and milestones are implemented promptly
- Monitor performance, risks, and dependencies across task order activities
- Support reporting, status updates, and stakeholder communications. Preferred Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems supporting on-premises and/or cloud-based environments Minimum Requirements
- Project Management certification (PMP or other recognized certification)
- Five (5) years of relevant experience, plus
- Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector within IT and/or consulting Education
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) OR
- Four (4) additional years of relevant experience instead of a degree Security & Certification Requirements
- Sensitivity Level: IT-I - Critical Sensitive
- Clearance: Secret
- IA Level: IAT II
- DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification, including privileged access for application, data, database, utility, or software tools administration Possible Work Locations
