We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD Systems Administrator will support mission-critical Information Technology (IT) systems. This role involves the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and daily operation of IT infrastructure supporting client/server, storage, network, and mobile environments. System Administrators work closely with users, internal teams, and agency stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability. Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree * System Administrator - Level 3
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree * US citizenship and an active security clearance required #OpsConsulting
- Manage IT system infrastructure and associated processes
- Perform day-to-day system operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
- Support escalation and communicate system status to agency management and internal customers
- Support dispatch systems and hardware troubleshooting through resolution
- Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Install and load operating system software and apply enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization
