We are seeking a Site Lead / Business Development Manager to lead our Dayton, Ohio location and support the growth of new programs aligned with SciTec's strategic initiatives. This on-site role reports to the Director of the Missile Defense Solutions Portfolio and involves a combination of site leadership, business development, program development, and personel management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader capable of driving new business while supporting a high-performing technical team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Capture * Identify, capture, and maintain opportunity pipelines and roadmaps that align with corporate strategy through customer and industry engagement
- Lead assigned opportunities through SciTec's gated milestone process, culminating in compliant and compelling proposal submissions
- Identify and execute business development efforts where SciTec performs as a subcontractor to prime contractors
- Develop teaming strategies, teaming agreements, and subcontract RFPs
- Coordinate with technical staff and Business Operations teams (Contracts, Finance, IT, Security) to deliver high-quality proposals
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules and budgets; support parallel proposal activities as needed
- Analyze Government RFPs to shape proposal strategy and execution plans
- Write white papers, proposal abstracts, and other customer-facing technical content
- Support pre-award activities, including customer Q&A, staffing planning, and teammate coordination
- Support new program start-up activities including kickoff meetings, personnel onboarding, and collaborative IT environment setup
- Support marketing and business research; articulate SciTec capabilities to customers and partners
- Align employee career progression with interests, skill sets, and project needs
- Promote a positive workplace culture by organizing morale events and team activities
- Serve as facility coordinator, overseeing work orders, office consumables, and site logistics
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the Dayton site and corporate goals Requirements * Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
- 12 years of U.S. Government or aerospace industry experience in technical or managerial roles
- 10 years of experience contributing to or leading U.S. Government technical proposals
- Demonstrated success analyzing RFPs and leading proposal development activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and managerial solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, partners, and internal leadership
- Strong team-building, conflict-resolution, and time-management capabilities
- Active DoD SECRET clearance or higher
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Requirements * Expertise in one or more mission areas:
- Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2)
- Integrated Air and Missile Defense
- TCPED
- Mission Management
- Experience leading technical teams to develop solutions for DoD/IC customers
- Direct experience working with MDA, USSF, USAF, SDA, COCOMs, or the Intelligence Community
- Demonstrated business development success within the U.S. Government contracting ecosystem

- Flexible Work Hours The pay range for this position is $150,000- $190,000 / year.
