- This position is contingent upon contract award** Amentum is seeking an experienced Management Analyst III to support a future shipbuilding acquisition program management services contract for US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Team Submarine (TEAM SUB). Primary Responsibilities: * Analyzes business or operating procedures to devise most efficient methods of accomplishing work. * Plans study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis. * Collects and organizes information on problem or procedures including present operating procedures. * Analyzes data gathered, develops information and considers available solutions or alternate methods of proceeding. * Organizes and documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes. * Confers with personnel concerned to assure smooth functioning of newly implemented systems or procedure. * May install new systems and train personnel in application. * May conduct operational effectiveness reviews to ensure functional or project systems are applied and functioning as designed. * May develop or update functional or operational manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy. Minimum Qualifications: * Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. * 7 or more years experience in cost estimating, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field. Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor's level degree in a business or technical field * Experience in Navy submarine cost estimating and life cycle costs * 7 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs. * 7 years experience working with Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy (SC,N) appropriation to include demonstrated knowledge of commitments, obligations, expirations and cancellations of funds policies and regulations to include demonstrated experience with Obligation Work Limiting Dates (OWLDs). * 7 years experience with creating, maintaining and explaining large financial data bases tracking SC,N data across eight fiscal years or more of funding data. Salary : $70,000 - $120,000
