Expert Cloud Architect with Security Clearance

Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking an Expert Cloud Architect to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and mission-aligned cloud architectures. The Expert Cloud Architect ensures that thorough analyses of cloud service alternatives are conducted and prioritized, enabling the Government to effectively architect business and mission solutions using cloud-based systems and services. Responsibilities: * Drive Cloud Transformation: Lead and support cultural and organizational change initiatives that promote successful cloud adoption across NGA and related mission environments.

• Architect Cloud Solutions: Oversee the design, development, and coordination of integrated cloud architectures that meet NGA's operational, security, and mission requirements.
• Strategic Cloud Planning: Develop and refine enterprise cloud strategies to guide the adoption, migration, and optimization of cloud-based solutions within NGA's technical ecosystem.
• Leadership & Oversight: Provide technical direction, mentorship, and quality assurance for teams of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level Cloud Architects, ensuring alignment with NGA standards, enterprise policies, and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications: Required: * Active TS/SCI Clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph. * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.

• 18 years of experience in cloud-based systems architecting is required and may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with NGA.
• One or more Cloud Certifications:
• Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified
• Cisco Certified Networking Administrator - Cloud
• Cisco Certified Network Professional - Cloud
• IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect
• MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructur
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)
  
  

Desired: * Previous working experience in government or industry, within Cloud Architect profession.

• Experience architecting solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.
• Experience architecting solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
