Network Engineer

Clear Winds is looking for a network engineer. This person will be required to be proficient in network engineering including, switching, routing, wireless and firewall technologies. It is desired that this person to be knowledgeable in multiple vendor networks such as: Cisco, Ruckus, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc. technologies. Optional knowledge in Fortinet, Sonicwall, etc. will also be considered.

This person will also need project management skills and be able to multi-task on different projects. Projects will include design, analysis, implementation, troubleshooting and tuning. A strong work ethic, communication skills and organizational skills a must. A willingness to take ownership of the project while prioritizing its purpose to serve the users is critical.

Required Skills:

• Cisco Certified CCNA or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in network technology is preferred

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or equivalent experience within a technology-based environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP and OSPF

• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking sytems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and wireless controllers

• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently

• Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot wireless and security infrastructure

• Time management

• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology

• Candidates desired to be highly proficient in IP telephony, active switching, routing, wireless and security technologies.

• Candidates must have the ability to communicate well with clients.

It is desired that this person to be knowledgeable in the Microsoft technologies such as: Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
