Embedded C Software Engineer - Junior to Mid level - Direct hire - Hybrid in Burlington
Our client is looking for an Embedded C Software Engineer to join their engineering team and develop reliable, high-performance embedded software. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working close to the hardware and solving challenging software problems.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C
- Work closely with electrical, firmware, and systems engineers
- Develop software for microcontrollers and embedded platforms
- Debug and troubleshoot software at the hardware level
- Participate in architecture, design, testing, and code reviews
- Work with communication protocols, peripherals, and device drivers
- Support the full software development lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience developing embedded software in C
- Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, or bare-metal development
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interfaces
- Experience debugging embedded systems using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
