Job Summary:
- This position is responsible for ensuring the availability and maintenance of County vehicles and equipment by performing skilled duties in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and functional shop environment.
- Perform daily operations of equipment/vehicle maintenance for the Department.
- Adhere to all County policies and procedures.
- Maintain operating and maintenance knowledge of all vehicles and equipment.
- Place orders for parts and pick up supplies as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience in automotive maintenance/repair.
- A two-year degree in automotive maintenance or related field is preferred.
- ASE certification (T1-T8) is highly desirable.
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to obtain Commercial Driver License within one year.
