Journeyman Electrician – Willow Creek, CA

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our Whitson team in Willow Creek, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on a variety of residential, commercial, or industrial projects. This role requires expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other components.
- Perform routine electrical inspections and troubleshooting to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, apprentices, and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- A valid Journeyman Electrician license, or a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
