Summary

As a Substitute Teacher at Ocali Charter Middle School, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students. This position is essential for ensuring that learning objectives are met and that students receive the support they need during their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure student learning continues smoothly.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Engage students in meaningful activities that promote their academic and social development.
• Provide support to students with diverse learning needs and adapt instruction as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding classroom activities and student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Requirements

• 60 Credit Hours/AA degree
• Excellent classroom management skills and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
