Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or similar environment, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Launder and dry clean all hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing as required.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
• Inspect items for stains or damages prior to laundering and report any issues to management.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow proper handling procedures for chemicals and cleaning agents used in the laundry process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or dry cleaning preferred, especially in a hotel setting.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.

What we are Looking For: Independent, Self-Motivated and Hard-Working People

Previous experience is not necessary but you must be dependable, flexible and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking to hire 1 - 2 professional Laundry attendants immediately with experience preferred, but not required. This is a trainable position.

Currently taking applications and interviewing for the rest of this year through the season for a laundry attendant part time, year round.

ALL positions start out at $13/hr for training, however, you can quickly earn $14 - 15hr & more as you learn and we find out your skill-set! We can also discuss salary in the winter.

What You'll Do:

Create a welcoming environment for our guests' experience by ensuring their linens & towels are laundered to CYWI standard. Further details and pay will be discussed during interview. Carry heavy bags to washing machine, pretreat linens, start washers, switch to dryers, sort, fold & label linen sets, load organized linen bags, lift over stock bins & heavy linen bags.

The Skills You'll Need:

--Reliable transportation (your own vehicle preferred close to Panama City)

--Weekend availability, mandatory during the season

(Spring Break and Summer; June-August)

--Attention to detail

--Housekeeping or Laundry experience is helpful, but we can teach you the CYWI standard!

--Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds.

--Comfortable working with others
