Seeking a reliable on call cleaning tech that can take care of ongoing monthly services for our clients, window washing, pressure washing, floor scrubbing experience, occasional emergency sanitation cleaning. throughout the Portland and surrounding areas, MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION NO PUBLIC TRANSIT as cleaning tech will need to haul supplies.
Flexible and available for Projects that come up. Looking for someone long term to build a good working relationship with that will eventually lead to area supervisor for the monthly projects assigned.

Bi-weekly pay: pay dates are 10th and 25th.

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers.
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Conduct custodial tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and sanitation of restrooms and common areas.
- Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and other specialized equipment for floor care and buffing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries.
- Respond promptly to on-call cleaning requests, ensuring swift action to meet the needs of various facilities.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including sanitation standards and floor care procedures.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or staff.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while practicing safe lifting practices.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus.
