Role Description
This is a full‑time Industrial Hygienist position serving the DMV region. Professionals currently in the industrial hygiene industry, as well as those in the restoration industry looking to make a change, are encouraged to apply. The role is hybrid, with work performed from home, in the office, and onsite. Core responsibilities include: conducting inspections and evaluations, collecting environmental samples, conducting audits, and conducting training. Additional duties include interpreting results, preparing detailed reports, assisting with training, and providing recommendations to maintain healthy and safe work conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field, preferred.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of indoor air quality (IAQ) and assessment methods.
- Knowledge and credentials in Mold, Lead, and/or Asbestos Inspections, a plus.
- Understanding of healthcare infection control risk assessment (ICRA) procedures.
- Experience with environmental health and safety (EHS) and OSHA compliance.
- Experience with training and/or comfort with public speaking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain professional licensure from federal and state agencies.
