Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living spaces.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Clean floors thoroughly using appropriate floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing to restore shine and durability.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathrooms, and furniture through detailed cleaning routines.
• Use janitorial tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes without compromising quality.
• Assist with outdoor work when required, including patio or porch cleaning to ensure the entire property is pristine.
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply needs promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or custodial environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using various cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of janitorial procedures, sanitation standards, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Experience in outdoor work related to residential properties is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven time management skills ensuring efficient completion of daily tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Previous roles involving dusting, laundry, floor care, or general housekeeping will be considered valuable assets.
