What you'll do

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to keep all areas pristine.
• Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are stocked, sanitized, and tidy at all times.
• Conduct detailed cleaning of common areas such as hallways, break rooms, and entryways.
• Handle floor care responsibilities including buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces to enhance their appearance.
• Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to maximize efficiency.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning environments.
• Background in residential painting or porter duties is a plus.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices.
