What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Technician Trainee position at Clean Save Restoration?
Job Overview
We’re a growing restoration company looking for a solid, reliable person to come in and help us keep things running the right way.
This is entry-level. No experience needed.
What This Role Actually Is
You’re the extra set of hands that keeps everything moving.
- Show up on time. Every day. No excuses.
- Help on job sites (mostly general labor and demo)
- Keep the truck clean, stocked, and organized
- Keep the shop clean and dialed in
- Run errands for materials and supplies
- Support the team however needed, even if that means grabbing lunch or knocking out small tasks
Nothing in this role is “above you.” If that bothers you, this isn’t the job.
The Reality of the Work
This job is not glamorous.
You’ll be in tight spaces like crawlspaces and attics. You’ll deal with water damage, debris, and sometimes rough conditions. You need to be comfortable getting dirty and working in confined areas.
If you’re squeamish or claustrophobic do not apply.
You’ll also be working inside homeowners’ homes. Professionalism and doing the right thing every time is the standard.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone reliable — we shouldn’t have to wonder if you’re showing up
- Someone hard-working — you don’t need to be told everything
- Someone coachable — you take direction without attitude
- Someone professional — you can carry yourself well inside a customer’s home
- Someone who’s team-first — no ego, just get it done right
Requirements
- English-speaking
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able and willing to do physically demanding work
- Comfortable in confined spaces and with messy conditions
Bonus (Not Required)
- Box truck driving experience
- Construction or demolition background
Growth Opportunity
If you prove yourself in the first 3 to 6 months, we’ll invest in you.
That means training you into a Water Restoration Technician, which comes with:
- More responsibility
- Company sponsored certifcation(s)
- Higher pay
- Real skill development
- A long-term role with the company
But that’s earned, not guaranteed.
Pay
Starting pay is $20–$23/hour, depending on reliability, work ethic, and how you show up day to day.
This is a full-time position with consistent hours (9 to 5 M-F) and overtime opportunities depending on workload.
We reward people who show up, work hard, and take the job seriously.
One Last Thing
We keep the bar high. If you’re not serious, not consistent, or not willing to work hard, it won’t last long. We fully expect that some people won’t make it in this role, and that’s fine.
If you’re the type who bets on themselves and wants to grow with a company from the ground up, apply.
