Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Clean Harbors. As an EI Technician, you will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, as well as assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Calibrating and testing instruments to ensure accuracy
- Assisting with the installation of new electrical and instrumentation systems
- Troubleshooting issues with control circuitry and electrical systems
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in oil, refinery, chemical, or steel mill environments
- Instrument and/or electrical training or degree preferred
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Ability to work a rotating shift and overtime as needed
